Wooden Trailer

Have any of you seen this? I realize this isn't an expo trailer but it had to be an adventure. http://bridgeport.askmisterscience.com/bridgeport.htm I am amazed at the trailer, at first I was what is this guy doing! But after thinking about the Old School tear drops and the first trailer frames were wood. I have to try this some time just to see how it tows.

Morgan cars used to have Ash wood frames. There was a project car made from wood fibers, complete vehicle with the exception of the glass and the drive train. Nothing wrong with wood so long as it's the right wood and well protected.

I was most impressed with the confidence he had with that derrick. It looked mighty scary straddling the stairway.

I would trust my own construction with wood before some of the shi%%y welds I often see...
