Packed up my daughters, their friend, and headed for Canyonlands and the White Rim Road. Arrived in Moab on Sunday afternoon and waited for the rain and snow to pass. We ventured out of Moab on Monday morning - still off and on rain/snow - and stopped in Arches N.M., then went on to Island In The Sky entrance. The Shafer Trail was closed due to snow, so we were forced to go in through Potash Road which took us much longer than we had planned. We never made it around the whole trail, but we had a great time (thought there was some complaining about the low 20's temps Monday night!) and enjoyed some great scenery. Planning more trips for the summer - I wish all the good trails were not so far away!
