1st Gen Tacoma RTT Rack, San Diego
It's not doing anyone any good sitting in my backyard, so it's time to pass this along to someone that will put it to good use.
This custom RTT rack was designed for use with a 1995.5-2004 Tacoma with the 6 ft bed. It's made of tube steel and despite its solid construction, is surprisingly light at ~50 lbs. I was able to take it off the truck alone with ease (tent removed). 8 bolts secure the rack to the bed through the bed rails. The tent bolts onto two rectangular steel removable crossbars and facilitate easy removal for storage. The majority of the tent sits below the roof line to keep a lower center of gravity and to reduce drag. It also has a removable bar that bolts across the bed around the tailgate to keep the bed from spreading from prolonged heavy offroad use.
I no longer have the ability to transport this item due to its size, so it will be a pick-up only sale (San Diego). I'll pass it along for $200 and will help install in my driveway.
