Cool thanks, That's the Thread that got me looking for a Colorado. I'm Going to do the inner fenders a little different, but But In the end I hope the Trailer can come out close to that nice.

Well be using it this summer driving up Banff and back on a climbing trip. We Got the Trailer because we think it will be more comfortably for him in the Trailer and a ground Tent.

    Thanks

I'm overhauling an old pop-up too. You can't beat the portability and family friendliness of these!

I have one as well, and was inspired by the build on here. my approach was slightly different, and I didn't cut into the wheel Wells. If you google "operation trailer trash" it will link you to more details on my build.

I have one as well. But mine needs new canvas and the top cover. I am not sure were to get those at and depending on price for those items i might just turn mine in to a utility trailer.

    jet noise,
Thank you for the heads up on your Build that awesome! Do you remember what length your axle is WMS to WMS? I like the idea of not having to cut up the sides of the trailer if i don't have too, but I'm wanting to have 255/75/17 goodyear tires on stock 17" moab's and I'm sure if they will fit. I found I guy who can get a 3500 lb axle in 5x5.

also do you have any pictures of it behind your jeep?

When I get home today I can do some measuring. I didn't mod the frame myself, cause I can't weld, but the mod is simple enough! Mine are 31s I think. Anyway, the jeep pictured in thephotobucket album is gone now and I have another. It sits nice and level behind it. I'll try and post some photos up!

    Nate!

I had to get the sides of my pop-up trailer frame modified to fit larger tires. I had to hire a welder, because I can't weld. I have a more detailed build thread on another forum. If you want to read about it you can find it HERE I start discussing the problem in post #70. Ended up being an easy $120 fix (and that included the welder welding on stabilizing jacks, the spring seats to the axle and welding on the propane tank mounts) in addition to just the trailer frame fix.
