    Default RIP Rangie

After 3 years of wonderful ownership i'm being forced to let Rangie go. On Sunday morning I was t-boned by a Tundra that ran a red light at 45 miles an hour. I must be a lucky SOB because he struck me right in the B pillar and managed to push me 20 some odd feet to the other side of the intersection. I was only glad I had just dropped of my fiancé and dog down the street, otherwise things could have been much worse.

Amazingly I managed to walk away unscathed. Yet I can't help but feel a sense of guilt; he saved my life but I am unable to save his. He never failed to get me where I wanted to go, and even when I bit off more than I could chew he always continued on and compensated for my inexperience. He was a trusty friend that never let me down and he will sorely be missed.

    RIP Rangie

Sorry to hear about that. These vehicles have a personality of their own. He gave the ultimate sacrifice. . . Any plans for a replacement?

The right way to show your affection is to adopt another one from the same litter in Solihull.

I hear this so much from Land Rover owners - they really are safe vehicles. Glad you're okay.

Just think of it as a chance for a new beginning, whether it be Rover or not. Most importantly, no one was hurt.

Thanks for all of the support everyone, I must admit these land rovers might not like to run from time to time, but they are built like tanks. Once I settle everything with the insurance company I'm going to start looking for a replacement. I'm trying to decide if I should stick with the L322 or go over to the LR3 or LR4.
