I purchased the Targus stylus from Amazon.com. After three weeks of daily use with iPhone and iPad, the stylus continues to work well, and shows little wear to the nib.
The link above is for the model with an orange color body. There are several other colors. Prices from different vendors vary between $10 and $15, plus shipping.
How did they miss the Targus stylus in that review. It seems to be the most popular one out there. I had the original and never really had an issue with it until it walked away. I just bought the new one with is longer and feels better to use.
Here's round two of the stylus evaluation. The $26 Applydea Maglus (it's an Irish company) stylus is the new winner.
