Just recently there was a link floating around to another website. It was reviewing a pad, but I have lost the link! Help!!

Any ideas? It was a small website, clearly member run.

Summer gets to be very warm and humid here in MO and I'm wondering if the foam will just be too uncomfortable to use in anything but cool to cold weather. Any thoughts?
I haven't slept on a true "foam Pad" in years. They are bulky when the thickness gets up there. I would think huge if closed cell. Without a cover of some sort (for open cell) they are hard to keep clean as well. The self-inflating (air mattress with open cell foam inside) pads I use year round without issues of being too hot in the summer. They are toasty in the winter. My 3.5" self inflater rolls up about 12" in diameter and 30" long in a bag. It only takes seconds to roll it up.

First post, sorry. I bought the 3.5" self inflating pad from REI and love it. However, not sure what Costco is like near you, but this past weekend, I noticed Costco has a self inflating 3 or 3.5" pad now for 35 bucks I think. I almost bought 2 just on price alone. Maybe something for those looking for a comfortable pad, but on a budget. Plus, Costco's return policy is fantastic. I don't see how anyone could go wrong. I am in the Phoenix area, so again, not too sure what other Costco's might have.

Gotta throw out the ExPed. They rock! Use them for our moto trips. More compact then the self inflators.

We have a pair of Thermarest Dreamtime mattresses. 3-2/2" thick and quite comfy as sleeping on the ground goes.

Just picked up another REI 3.5" pad in the regular size today at the sale. I bought this to use in my Ten-Cot Collapsable. I intend to try them both out this week!

They have these pads at my Costco too and I'm thinking about giving them a try; I have the 3.5" REI self inflating pad but the price is tough to beat for the Light Speed pads currently at Costco that I might get it just to get it!

Slept on the standard mattress in my RTT, ARB Pilbara, a couple of weeks ago. Way too hard for me - just awful. i have a Cabelas's Ultimate I am waiting to try. I might try it with just the Cabela's pad first before resorting to both. I would like to be able to leave my sleeping pad up top when I pack it away. What are other folks doing with their RTT's and sleeping pads?
