CDL Locked while driving-problem???

Found out my cdl was locked while driving 70 miles or so of dirt and paved roads. Bad? Anything to look for and/or watch out for? I am assuming it wasn't the best! Thanks for your insights.

How much dirt and how much pavement? I was instructed by some professionals that engaging diff lock in my Defender as soon as I hit dirt would not be a problem. However asphalt is not such a good idea. I don't know what to watch for, have you tried IH8Mud.com?

I'm going on the words of others here, but I don't think you've got a problem. I have heard there are some FZJ owners who drive with the CDL locked at all times because they like the way it drives that way.

Ya, man, I don't know. It feels "tighter" in the corners, but I'm solidly in the camp of leaving it unlocked until I need the traction. The loss in turning radius is clear even on dirt.

It is my understanding...if you want a little more traction/power while on dirt. My CDL locks automatically when I put my rear OME locker on...
