'87 Suburban won't start after cap and rotor change

Good news! It starts and runs now. Bad news, I really don't know what was causing the problem to begin with. I simple took everything apart, and put it back together, and it fired up this time

But I shouldn't be complaining, it's great to have it running again. Now just have to get it to pass smog :)

Thanks, everyone

glad to hear its running, yes check your coil wire.

i also suggest replacing your grounds, battery to engine, engine to frame, some people through an engine to body to frame in there.

For what it worth, only run acdelco plug wire. Sounds weird. But it get a miss fire on any other brand wires.

Where are you in socal?

Thanks for the tip. I'll add a plug wire upgrade to my list. I'm just up the road from you in Fallbrook.
