TT isnt branded I dont think...its just who they use.
So your "KTM" bags are really 'Tour a tech'. They do take a beating but if I recall, I read something about the lids get jacked up fairly easily .

Nah my KTM bags are Hepco & Becker bags branded as KTM bags. My bike is an 08.
The Hepco & Becker plastic bags are still available but now they are black not grey. The TT thing must be fairly new or a special option. Who knows.
They are both top quality pannier sets they are strong light and provide ample secure storage.

I dont want to bust you out again but this is my father in laws (I think 2007) KTM and these came from the KTM parts counter as well when purchased new (in with the deal). There are 2 other 990's in our 'fleet' as well with TT/KTM bags if you want to keep going. lol

I hear ya but I'm saying that my KTM stamped and branded panniers are Hepco & Becker GOBI cases.
Like the Black cases you linked in the book. But mine are grey.
They say KTM on the outside and Hepco&becker GOBI on the inside. They are NOT TT cases. Like I said you may have bought TT cases in you "fleet" of KTMs but the stamped branded KTM cases are GOBI cases.
I have my bike siting in my shop looking at them right now.
Don't know what to tell you other than Nice bike man and cool TT cases.

Maybe this will help explain what im saying. They are literally STAMPED KTM.
Im sure you could buy any case you wanted. But these are the ones in the catalog that I have seen and what is on the bike and what the OP was asking me about.
Not trying to be difficult. But they are on my 990 right now. Not sure what else to say.

Thanks for all of the info on the bags. I was thinking of the Hepco & Becker "KTM" cases Zolo was mentioning. I think I'll probably just go with those... if they make me a good deal on them. I should be picking up the bike this afternoon, after the long trip to Colorado.![]()
And what I am saying is they offer more than those cases. These too are stamped both KTM and TT like yours are stamped both ways. They too have been purchased from the parts dept of the KTM dealer.
There are options from the parts counter. That said, I think I would actually go for the plastic panniers as I have mentioned, the metal lids arent made to 'last' ...but can be replaced cheap from TT.
No worries, post pics when you get it. I think that its a great bike no matter the bags and in WY like I said it will be way fun with the amount of places and dirt to ride.
Congrats
Im glad you and your friend got the panniers you wanted. KTM seems offer many options. Cool bike and nicely set up. Have fun man.

Holly hell that is a nice looking KTM.
I freaking dig the Black Gobi cases on the white. Man that looks great. Talk about a fun bike. I'm jealous and I have one.
Congrats man. I bet that was a good first ride. I hope the good ole WY wind wasn't to terrible.
