From what the owner has told me I believe the front is a Dana 44 and rear is a 10 bolt. 4:10 gears

I think the owner is mistaken on the rearend. I didn't think the 2500 had a 10 bolt, much less a 10 bolt with an 8 lug pattern.

"full float" means that the axle shaft itself doesn't support the weight of the truck on the wheel. You can usually tell a full float axle if the hub in the center stick out past the wheel, the axle runs from your diff to your hub to drive your wheel. In a full float if you break an axle shaft your wheel wont fall off lol, if you break one in a semi float axle (where the axle supports the weight of the truck) then your wheel will fall off too. Not sure if that helped lol its hard for me to explain.

This is a nice rig. If I wasn't buying one nearly identical I'd jump on this.
