Living in Atlanta it gets dam humid and hot in summer!

Has anyone managed to mount A/C in their FWC or ATC?

I was thinking of using a small window unit for Camping using shore power, maybe something i could remove from the camper when the worst of summer was over

Stan thanks for the reply with some great ideas - glad to see I'm not the only person silly enough to want to do add AC.

Do you think either the wall or window would need reinforcement to hold the weight of an AC unit?

I'm thinking on putting a unit in the same way as the picture above of the FWC Hawk. Anyone know if the frame is the same on an ATC bobcat ?

Stan - Assuming the FWC eagle and ATC bobcat right rear frame are the same.

Do you know the dimensions of the hole in the center of the boxed section?

I'm not sure ?

I saved that picture some time ago from a generic Craigslist ad.

The camper was for sale somewhere in Florida, thus the need for the AC and generator.

:)

I do know that the Eagle and ATC frames are different.

With the FWC Eagle or Fleet Models we do not have room on the rear wall for an air conditioner.

(the camper is just not wide enough)

The Eagle on the Tundra with the AC unit installed upper / driver's side / rear wall pic must have been an empty shell model and the customer installed the AC unit on his own.

I think the AC unit we normally use is approx. 18" wide ??

Does anyone have personal experience with installing an AC unit on the couch side of a ATC bobcat in the rear wall? I'm wondering what type of re-inforcement would be needed in the wall?
