    Ok I had to go back and reread things to realize you did this back in March....I was thinking you were nuts to head out in the current heat

    As always a great start to one of your fine trip reports....looking forward to the rest of the story.
    cigar smoking, wilderness first responding, ham talking night nurse who is overland certified and a fellow of the Royal Geographical Society.....
    now everyone say "so what where have you been lately?"

    Iv been curious about this trail for awhile, is it passable in a 4x4? or is it only for the 2 wheel varieties??

    Glad you made it out ok! Calling SAR was a good choice, most of'em like to get out anyway.

    I've been waiting for the roads to open to do this section of the Az travers. They just opened last week
