    Default Roof rack cost

How much would you spend to have a rack built for your truck to your specs, for this guy it was 7 feet by 50" and sit on his shell using the factory mounting tracks. Most of my rack builds have open front and rear for carrying surfboards with expanded metal in the center for other stuff.

    I agree with this.

Where are you located? I might need a basket built.

I am in the down town San Diego area and I built this rack for young kid who I have been helping along with his Tundra. It does take some time and materials in this rack are at $145.00 and end price will probably be in the $350-$400 range when all done.

I'd gladly pay $400-500 for that if it can hold a spare tire, hilift jack, and some luggage without breaking. And if it had some tabs allready on that I could drill for mounting purposes. An extra bar across the center wouldn't be a bad idea. Maybe some tabs at all 4 corners for rear and side lights.

...But I'm not in an SUV right now, no rack needed for my truck.
