Ouch.. wind and solar panel on tripod..
Long story short.. doing some vehicle repairs in Moab. Using the Goal Zero Extreme 350 kit to run a solder gun. Worked great until.... we decided to cool off in the river, and while there, a wind gust took out my inverter. OUCH.. At least to solar panel and 350 Battery are still OK.
here is the brain of my Smart Bar/Lockers on my Power Wagon. The connection pincs had corroded.
My buddies Power Wagon, I mistakely placed this setup on the tailgate. Bad Move.
So when the panel fell over, it pulled the 350 onto the inverter.
Oh well. Live and learn.
This set up worked great until the accident.
I gotta say.. I love the fact that the tripod, battery and panel are fine!
