Got some more work done on the frame, hung the fenders to see how they look, mounted the safety cables,
tail light brackets, deck plate on the tongue, painted the new reflector housings and mounted them, ran the pigtail back for the
trailer plug and bought some wire to finish the lights. Looking at designing a tear drop to fit on the frame.

    It looks nice.

It looks like something you would see at a paint ball place.

Mounted the tail lights before a day of rain. That was the end of work until tomorrow.
I spotted an aluminum box on Craigslist, contacted the seller and made a deal.
$40.00 for a lightly used DEE ZEE truck box was a great deal.

Bought a Jerry can off ebay, It is a BLITZ steel and it is a 2 1/2 Gallon size.
I kept one of the original Jerry can holders from the military and took them both to work this week
I massaged the dents and had them primed and readied for top coat.
The frame will be gloss black and the can will be ACE cherry red.
I cut a new rubber gasket on the laser and it will seal great.

It will be mounted on the frame of the trailer in front of the fender where it stops short of the front.

I have a question, I have a 101a3 and want to remove the surge lunette and install the channel and lunette like you have. My parking brakes work great and I would like to keep them, can I remove the surge assembly and still keep the parking brakes?

YES! Just remove the brake lines " maybe the wheel cylinders too" and the hand brakes will work fine.

Deck down and painted, mud flaps mounted to keep the slop off people behind me.
New Bull Dog 2" adjustible coupler, Wires Lights and ready to go.
I plan on tandem towing this one behind my 101A2 at this years Christmas Parade in my town.
