I think there is interest in a 5th Gen 4Runner ALUMINUM bumper, as Aluminess refuses to make one. The steel bumpers for the 5th Gen 4runner are just too heavy...

I would be interested. Especially in sliders and rear bumper, possibly with a swing out tire carrier

Will the front bumper work for the 1st gen Taco as well? Also, what does the bumper weigh? Looks good

1st Gen Taco is 96 -2003 Correct? These will work with all of them but looks a little funny on the 02-03 Downward swoop grill. We have some add on caps to make it look right in the works. The frames are a little different from year to year so some fine tuning on your part will be needed to be done to the frame horns ( nothing to difficult)

I really think you are onto something here my friend.
I love to weld, but without a CNC, it is not cost efficient to build my own bumper.
If you ever do a 2nd gen Tacoma, I would take an aluminum kit.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!"
