Has anyone put a Deep cycle battery in there 2012 yet? What did you use?
I used an Optima in my JK.
The Diehard Platinum, made by Enersys, is a good battery too. Better reserve power but more internal resistance, slower to charge, and not as forgiving in some circumstances.
All premium batteries have a give or a take in some measure of performance.

Look at Carlolyn's thread here and see what she did:

Call Odyssey. I had spoken to a rep there and she said they have the PC1500R I think it was or something close to that name which has reversed posts that would work. It's been a while but she was going to give me a bit of a discount at the time if I purchased and I think with free shipping but don't hold me to it.

If they limited dual options to come out to my liking I'll likely go this route.

Good luck

Its the 34R PC1500T http://www.odysseybattery.com/autospecs.html

Bill, there is virtually no way to do dual batteries under the hood in a '12. No room, no way. Heck it's hard to find room for a relay for lights :Wow1:

I've got three of the Die Hard Platinums - two of the G31-M's and a G65. Great batteries, and if you want to upgrade, I'd seriously consider doing what the link above shows. I know I will when we add a winch.

Bit rich for my blood - especially considering you need another $2-300 for the batteries themselves? For that kind of money you could get a solar panel, charge controller, wiring, mounts and battery (installed elsewhere)...
