Offset socket wrenches come to mind as well as offset wrenches. Also, it is quite possible to take a cheap tool and grind it, weld it, heat it/bend it to fit the need. If your 1/2 socket fits, but the driver does not, how about cutting the socket to the minimum length that will still turn the nut?
Of course, I cannot see it from here, but rather than shopping- just make something that works.
You will likely find in the end, that you need to mod your truck as much as the friends you go with, so choose them carefully. (AndrewP)
