I watched this thread closely for a few weeks...Seems a crummy way to do business!!

Concerning the hole.. My tent has two holes in the bottom.. Sealed them with white tub caulk and white vinyl siding material.. Blends well and looks better than a hole.. Very simple and effective fix if someone is on the edge and just mildly anal..
Oh.. Kind of an old post.. My bad... But still a good tech fix it tip..
