Anyone know if a 255/85/16 bfg-KM2 will fit in the stock spare location under the truck? (02 4runner) Thinking it might be a good idea to have a full size spare....

It fits in an 03 Double cab with some trimming of the "arms" on the tire carrier and guiding it to the right spot. It is a tight fit.
I don't think it will fit in an unmodified '02 4R, as even a 32" tyre is a tight squeeze in those trucks, and a 255/85R16 is just a touch larger than 33".
Fits in mine........Barely!

I have a half worn 255/85r16 under my 1996 4runner. A new one had a very slight rub on the track bar at full compression. I added a factory tow hitch until I can complete the rear bumper build and that made the fit tighter. I'm running a cooper sst.
fits under my 97 according to previous owner, but just barely...right now I have 265/75 so no worries there for me!
