    Default 2003 Honda XL230 only ever sold in Japan, currently in California with valid US Title

    Well the time has come, it's time to sell our Honda. My wife bought it new in 2003 back in Japan and did quite a bit of customization to it. This is a bike that is only available in Japan, but I brought it back and titled it as a homebuilt in Michigan where I am from. It has a Michigan special construction vin and title, but is all OEM Honda from when it was brand new. The only exceptions to that being the bars, front fender, exhaust and paint. This bike was never imported here and is the only one I am aware of that is in North America.

    223cc engine SOHC
    5 speed transmission
    Custom paint
    12,500-ish Km( under 8,000 miles)
    Supertrap style exhaust
    Euro style front fender
    Stock engine
    Re-jetted carb
    Extra gasket engine gasket kit
    New Kenda rear tire.
    Factory alarm system
    Factory tool kit
    All factory books except service manual
