    Default Side Window Replacements

I have a Silverado with a camper shell, the camper shell has the access windows on the side that enables you to open them up and access the interior of the bed. Does anyone know where I can get these styl windows for my 97 Land Cruiser and 91 4Runner? or does anyone have knowledge of these rear window swaps, or links to pre-existing threads?

    Thanks

Default You may want to talk to WagonGear.com

Not exactly what you're looking for, but I remember seeing a similar project done on Kevin's 60-series. He swapped in an access window for the rear-most window. He's done some pretty awesome stuff to his LC that might get your wheels turning. Here's his build thread and here's the vendor thread where people harass him about the windows.

That is exactly what I was looking for! THANKS!!
I have been scouring the interweb for info on this and couldnt find anyone that has actually done that. It seems to be a perfect solution for my 4Runner, as it has the roll down window in the back.

Glad I could help. I'd love to see what you come up with on the rear window.

I really wanted to do something similar before we left the states, since it's only inevitable at some point the rear window on our 1st Gen will fail. Ultimately I didn't have the time to find a graceful solution...good luck!

I will be sure to post picts as soon as I find a reasonable way to get this done. Kevins post is saying its about 600/side to do... I am looking for no more than 600 total and that is still on the high side. But now I know its doable and am excited. It is a future project though as I am out of the states as well and not with my trucks, but I have time for the research.

    Thanks again.
