    The Michigan 'M' Plates could also be on company-owned Chrysler/Jeep Vehicles, on a sortie, from the Chrysler Tech Center in Auburn Hills, MI?

    Just another angle to speculate on...

    That is very likely. I see "M" plates all the time.

    I saw a couple of J8 jeeps two winters ago at a gas station (OK, diesel). I looked inside one-pretty neat. I told the testers that Chrysler should build them for the US.

    Not sure. When I PM'd him for better pics, he said he sold it. He'll be in town next month for the Crawl4theCure (for the MS society) and I'm helping out as a trail guide, I'll get more info from him then. (He's working 7-12's right now)

    All I know is that he got it through BOR. It very well could be a conversion, after Dan's crew gets done with a rig, it's hard to tell if it was factory or not.
