1978 FJ40 Brake booster help.

There's a loud whooshing noise when I press the brake pedal, guessing the brake booster has gone South.
Looking for resources to replace or repair. I would like to rebuild it but have not been able to find parts.
any help or similar experiences, please let me know what you did to fix.

You can't get them new from Toyota any longer; either get a later mini-truck booster from a junkyard or get a re-built one from this guy:

Also they usually fail from the master cylinder leaking into them, so you'll probably want to replace or re-build your master cylinder as well.
