Default VW Jetta AllTrack coming to USA

    http://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/ne...ltrack-planned

Looks like VW may offer an "Outback" version of the next generation Jetta station wagon. The Jetta Alltrack will feature a small suspension lift, and plastic cladding on the side rails and wheel arches. The Alltrack will almost certainly be offered with both gas and diesel engines, and with front wheel or all wheel drive.

Should be a great snow car if nothing else. The lift is needed; the standard Jetta is way low to the ground! Better aerodynamics I guess, but you can't run over a rock bigger than a piece of gravel, and the oil sump is vulnerable.

Snow, schmo...if that's all it is our '08 GTi has been surprisingly good in the white stuff.

When it's really nasty there are Land Rovers in the garage.
    Don't worry, you're biodegradable.
