85 alaskan cabover on 2003 Dodge ram 2500

im looking at an 85 8' cabover alaskan to put on my 03 reg cab dodge 2500, this truck like a lot of the newer trucks has a bed that is narrower at the back, the seller couldnt tell me for sure if it would fit and im wondering if there are any alaskan gurus on here or if someone can steer me in the right direction?
the camper is on a 1st gen dodge so maybe i should figure out that bedside height, depth, and width and go from there?

My 1st experience with a popup was in Baja on a howling day. A guy invited me in for a beer and a shot of tequila. It was an Alaskan 8' cabover. I was hooked on popups. Hopefully it'll work for you.
