Thumbs up AdvDuo Tackles the Land Rover course with trailer at OVX (VIDEO)

While attending the 2012 Overland Expo event we figured we'd give a go at the Land Rover course fully loaded and trailer in tow. We've been through our share of trails with our trailer and weren't sweating it, but the officials were a little hesitant to approve. After signing the waiver, explaining our background, vehicle capabilities, discussed our COG and multi-axis hitch, we were soon on the course with an official in the passenger seat. Unfortunately this was all an impromptu deal, so we didn't get any video cameras on scene. However, we were lucky enough to have a good friend and fan of our blog, Richard LaRusso film the run with his cellphone and this is what he captured.

Huge thanks to Richard for shooting the video for us on such quick notice. Much appreciated!

    Thanks for sharing!

Recommendation for next year. Have a set time that all of the vendors who wish to participate can drive/tow their products through the course while potential buyers watch! There were so many great products on display and seeing them all in action would have been a big plus.

Ace Brown, kept hounding me about doing it, but I was the only one there and was swamped the whole weekend. I had not signed up for any classes so felt it was not a possibility, glad Dave got r dun! I jumped on it Monday morning and as Dave said, really was not much of a challenge, but it was fun playing on it. Next year we should have al the trailers have the opportunity to do the run, unfortunately I never got to see anyone run it, which would have been fun. A very busy weekend for sure, and what a great time.
