About time for an update. We've gone on a few big trips in the Landcruiser. Last October down to California; Yosemite, San Francisco, Redwoods. Headed out of the country to Big White, BC in January.

Rolled over to 225K Miles last week.

New plans for some build on it this summer. With two daughters, the next step in the build is quality of life improvements. I've got a pump and tank ordered for on-board water. 51L Truck Fridge ordered so we can skip the fast food and eat well when we travel.

Got new tires in Jan, 285/75 R16 Goodyear Duratracs:

Installed the 6 Gallon tank on the rear right side. It will fill up from the middle row seating. The fill spout will stick out between the seat and the door when all three middle row seats installed. Most of the time the new fridge will fill that spot.

Any plans for a hot water system? I'm drawing out my plans with a heat exchanger
Not right now. I'm keeping the truck mostly stock. This water system mounts to the box only. I'm running a hot wire from the battery to power the pump and a pair of 12v outlets for the fridge.

Hot water may come if I find we get a lot of use out of this water system.

Love the Hundy, and the camping reports! I just bought one, need to get out and go camping with it. These are great old trucks :)

Short camping trip up to Mt Rainer. We stayed at Alder Lake Park, a campground with showers etc. New equipment worked awesome. Fridge kept everything cold all weekend. It's great to be able to bring any leftover's home, no wasted food. On-board water worked well, but 6 gallons is kinda just a start, I'll still need some jerry cans for anything longer than a weekend.

Took a ton of trips this last summer. Most series trail was the Van Epps trail near Cle Elum. Probably a little to serious but that is what makes it fun. Hard to find some just landcruiser photos.
Playing in the campground by Walput Lake. Drove on some WABDR road south towards Mt Adams. FS Road 5601 is really unmaintained from Ollalie Lake towards the Cispus river.

Had to clear a downed tree on the Van Epps Trail.

The right side running board got torn up on a rock. Held up pretty well. 3 year now says that the Landcruiser is broken and refuses to use that step. Probably time for rock sliders.

Met my friend up at Salmon La Sac. Here's a water crossing near the end of the Cle Elum Valley Rd.

The box is 13" tall, 41"x42" (outside dimensions) There is an extra 3/4"x5" piece of plywood on the hatch end to add some angle so the drawers don't hit the tailgate. I sized it so when the middle row seats are folded you can attach a piece of plywood to rest on those seats and be level with the box.
