I am currently looking for a cheap way to build a rack system over the top of my M101A1 trailer. My trailer currently has a modified cover over the top that raises 16in over the bed. I would like to build a basket over this cover for more storage. The problem is I don't have access to a steel tube bender. I have thought about using steel fence post as my main beams and go from there. I am aware of the safety hazards when welding galvanized metal so I will properly deal with that. Any ideas for the crowd?
