If I was going to tow that much with this truck I would change wheels and tires to 285/75r16 10 ply. You won't be the fastest thing out there but it will get you there and back.

    Nice Truck... Bump!

If anyone does buy it that wants to do a diesel swap, I'll purchase the existing setup... Wow that would be nice in my Bronco.

    10k is nothing for a 460 F-series.

Towing ability is right there with a stock early powerstroke.

Biggest difference is fuel MPG. My father has a 1990 460 F350 4x4 that he tows a 28' camp trailer with. Wet and loaded it scales about 12k.

With the 460 he averages between 6 and 8 mpg. And it tows great using nothing more than a good brake controller and a weight distribution hitch.

BTW, Im REAL surprised this truck isnt gone yet... this is a great deal.

I'm glad my camping outfit stable is too full and my bank account is empty or I'd be tempted to make an offer on just the Alaskan (I have an old F350)... But one man can only have so many campers, I think one is enough
