Can anyone tell me if anyone still makes these for the XJ's?

Looking for the tubular style that seem to be only made for Grands. If I could have found them with a search, I would not be asking.
My humble opinion is stay away from them unless you go with real protection like the example from JCR.
I've wheeled a lot with guys that had the "protectors" stock from a dealer. Any time they backed into something... rather than protect the signals they still broke and the "cage" actually caused more damage to the fender.
If it's for looks than go for the cage... if they are for use go with the real protection.

Just a heads up, I have a pair of these on my XJ...they look great, but they aren't that protective. They attach with two thin tabs to the taillight mounts. They would be great for light brush, but anything larger will cause damage to the tailgate and fender, versus just a busted lens. IMO
I just like the look of them. My tail lights are still intact after all these years, so not to worried about that. It just appears no one makes them anymore.
Maybe go to home depot or wherever and buy some solid rod and make your own? Doesn't seem very complex.
