Trans-Africa in a Mercedes Benz 300d (W124)

In May 2012 Fab and his puppet completed a shortened Trans-Africa after visa issues ground his trip to a halt... the unique aspect:
His vehicle was an old Mercedes Benz 300d (W124) model.

He even had a bush mechanic perform a suspension lift to handle the rough roads...

Excellent find, thanks for sharing. Great to see people doing stuff with a passenger car while the rest of us are trying to save enough for max-modified Land Rovers.
