Congratulations - they are fun to drive.

If you are coming back through Seattle would love to catch up. Maybe show you our U500 and camper.

Did you source the truck through Rob in La Junta ?

    Hi Rob

Yeah, I purchased it through Rob in La Junta. I will be coming up through Seattle and would love to stop by and see your rig. I've seem the photos on your website and have been drooling over it ever since. I was actually going to email you with a few questions about your build but if you're in Seattle I'd love to stop by and chat to you in person.

Well that's how I got my defender, so I'm out of luck.

Well, picked up the U500 today and am in the process of driving it back. Lots of fun so far and quite a bit different from the ol' 1550L!

I've been cruising at around 65mph. I could go a little faster but find that a comfortable pace.

Arrived back in Chilliwack yesterday after a 3,000km drive back from Colorado. Spent 3.5 frustrating hours at the border but finally got my new baby onto Canadian soil!

On my way back home I was able to stop in and see Rob and Nina Blackwell who have a U500 with a gorgeous GXV build. I haven't stopped drooling over their rig and my U500 looks tiny sitting next to theirs. Thanks Rob and Nina for your kind and generous hospitality and for showing me your great rig . . . love the yellow!!
