PCMag: Verizon offers fastest 4G network

PC Magazine recently conducted a new round of speed tests for 3G and 4G services offered by cell phone carriers. The result is a clean sweep for Verizon Wireless, whose LTE service is faster in all the markets tested. In some cases, AT&T LTE was nipping on Verizon's heels. One interesting note is that LTE service is available primarily in metropolitan areas. Suburban and rural areas are not yet covered by LTE. T-Mobile has upgraded almost all of its network to 42 Mbit/second HSPA+, so if you're away from the city center, you may find T-Mobile provides the fastest service. T-Mobile's coverage in rural areas is not as extensive as Verizon or AT&T, so if you're really in the boondocks, T-Mobile may not be the answer.

But its only fastest if you can get to the network... There is no 4LTE over most of my area so 4g is not that fast...
