Thanks for all the compliments. If you are local and serious you can swing by and we could discuss building custom units to fit rigs other then 80 series cruisers.

As a stay at home dad I am looking to make this a viable home business. So any work thrown my way is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks again.

This appears to be the top of the line in quality. That being said, most people can't touch $1600 for a storage solution (you're aware of this, I know). That kind of coin will buy one hell of a Pelican case setup or in my case, the materials and tools needed to tackle my own project.

If I had your skills, I'd be hell bent on finding a way to crank these out for an affordable cost and make myself a little side business. Nice work. Unfortunately and as we all know, these projects rarely pay for themselves.

AhHA! Just read this. I guess I was on the right track, after all! Best of luck in this. I'll say it again - find that sweet spot of lowering the cost without sacrificing quality (it CAN be done) and you'll be in business.

LOL! You must be a motivational speaker or a comedian.

You hit the nail on the head.... I'm working hard to source materials at a lower price and enough interest to justify my investment. If I can find those both then I hope to get the cost down. Ideally $1000-1200

And you must not be a business owner.

In my experience with custom built items cost is often cut by the builder cutting his own hourly wage. Not the greatest business model IMO.
