Homemade alcohol backpacking stoves...who's dunnit

Ya it does the job. I mostly just did to see if I could. And kinda like the fact that I made that out of everything that I had already at home.... Other than the collapseable grill.

I've made a decent number of them over the years with various designs and sizes. I think several of them are still in my folk's garage and I think there's still one in the side pocket in the bed of my truck, While I've carried them in the past, I generally stick to a regular backpacking stove except for winter day hikes where they're handy for heating water for tea.

ETA I forgot that my brother has one of the Vargo titanium versions. Last time I asked him about it he seemed pretty happy with it.

i made a few myself. looking to make a few more but with different types of bottles/cans
there is 3 different versions out of the 8 i made lol
