Great video Alex!
I can attest to how well the Super Yankers work in snow and mud! I won't go out snow wheeling without mine.
Super Yanker, eh? That's what my friends used to call me back in High School. No wait, that was super wanker they called me. But seriously, I've read really great things about this product and thank you for the video.
PS: I imagine I'm the one millionth person to make that joke.

Alex,
Could you please explain why a Super Yanker is a better choice than a flat strap? In other words, why is a rope style product preferred to a strap style product.
(Not trying to be a jerk, trying to understand the differences.) I've used a 2" snatch-strap for many years, and it is time to replace it.
Thank you.
Sure, one of the main benefits that we see to using a rope vs a strap is the kinetic ability and lifespan. When you put tension on a nylon double braid rope you can visible see the ropes diameter decrease while the length increases. This is happening because the braids themselves are actually being pulled tighter and tighter against each other. A double braid rope consists of essentially two ropes, a cover and a core, which work in conjunction to give the controlled stretch that you can see in the video. When you stretch a strap you cannot pull a braid tighter so you end up stretching the nylon fibers themselves. Over time this will damage the fiber and cause it to wear out. This is also why you will never be able to get as much smooth extension from a strap as you are able to get from a rope.

Just to add a standard 2" strap does not have stretch designed into it.
If you haul ars# away from another vehicle as per the video with a non stretchy strap you're asking for trouble
The bungy effect is awsome in extracting vehicles and lessens the brute impact forces involved with a plain 2" strap
In the deserts of Oman the tow vehicle with a standard strap would simply stop moving and bog in the soft sand
the kinetic or stretchy tow rope was the one to have for extractions in soft conditions.
Same forces involved - but the bungy effect takes out the shock loads on vehicle parts and people inside !
I have an ARB product - similar results- but way safer than the standard strap, I still carry one - but for towing or tree saver-
not kinetic recoveries
