    Default 2011 Xterra Battery Upgrade

I would like to replace the stock battery in my 2011 Xterra with an Optima yellow top but the positive and negative terminals are in opposite locations (Stock battery + post is aft and - post forward, Optima + post is forward and - post is aft) and the cables will not reach. Any suggestions?

I wish I could go with the Diehard Platinum. Can't get one here in the UAE.

HenryJ, Thanks for the tip. I'll contact the marine supply place in Dubai and see what they can provide.

    Odyssey makes a reverse terminal D34, the PC1500RT: http://www.odysseybatteries.com/batt...1500series.htm

I believe this is the largest drop in battery available for our Xterras.
