Well, it's time to sell. They have both been very useful and reliable as we fixed the house but now that we have moved in and ready to go over to Europe, we have to let them go.

In my opinion it's almost as good as an Earthroamer, for 10% of the price.

:)

The truck:

1998 GMC Sierra 2500 4x4 SLT
6.5 Turbo Diesel
Extra Cab (no rear door)
120000 miles and about 40000 miles on crate engine -- very healthy.
Automatic, transmission shifts perfectly --no slippage
2WD/4wd/Hi-Lo push button -- engage perfectly
No exhaust leak
No rust
Original paint
A few dents but overall very presentable for the year
Bed liner
Tires have less than 5000 miles on them -- heavy duty 4 seasons ($1000 with invoice)
Air bags
Extended heavy duty hitch (double)
Trailer brakes
Leather interior -- driver seats has a few imperfections
PCM module has been replaced and relocated
Always starts right away
Smogged last year
No crack in windshield
Brakes are tight
No vibration -- cruise effortlessly at 75 mpg
Close to 20 mpg empty, 13/14 with camper

The camper:

2005 Bigfoot 2500 9.6 (fits 8' bed)
Second owner, bought last year from the original owner - something like $32000 new, have invoice
Everything works perfectly
Double sinks, dual propane bottles
Full bathroom/shower
No generator
No crack or dent
Many factory options -- rear awning, a/c, rear door lower window with insulation, microwave
Inside extremely clean -- no rip or anything broken

Excellent combo which works very well together -> has airbags, extended hitch, tie-down, etc.

You can cruise at 70-75 with the camper and still climb over the Sierra no problem!

Price: $16K

yep the combo sold today for $16500, which was a really good deal. It also came with a couple copies of OJ

:)

the buyer is a great guy who just came back from 3 months traveling in South America with a Nissan Pathfinder he bought/resold in Santiago de Chile.

It was a bit sad to see it go but now we can really start shopping for the next vehicle!
