Small addition to my trailer

Here is a quick project I knocked out before heading to Colorado last week.

I started with my trailer. It’s just a simple Ford Courier Truck Bed trailer:

Next I picked up some supplies..

Birch Plywood, some 1”x2” pine, Hardware, Polyurethane, Mineral Spirits and a Side Table Kit purchased from compactcampingconcepts.com.

I glued and screwed the 1”x2” strips to the perimeter and mounted the table leg:

Mounted the brackets to the trailer and table and set it up:

I later added the polyurethane.

After putting it to use it is the perfect addition to our “kitchen”. I do want to add a second leg. The table is kind of large for the single leg.

I think counter space is the number one under-rated aspect for camping trailers. I applaud your build.

Just at thought for you. I used an adjustable cargo bar for a table leg. I attached one of the mount pads to a hinge, then notched the foot so it would lay flat when put away. CARGO BAR The pads support the table in sand.
