Default A GREAT DEAL FOR TRAILER TAILLIGHTS

I am tighter than a frogs but when it comes to money "a frogs but is waterproof "
I wanted to pass on to my fellow EXPO builders what I have used as tail lights for my trailers.
"They were original equipment on trucks too!"

I have refurbished several trailers, Boat, Utility, and now that I found the Expo
a couple of M101A2 and M116A2 military trailers. I have used GROTE tail lights
from a chassis body truck for my tail lights on all of them.

Ebay is my source due to the fact that they sell for 1/4 the price shipped than
you could walk into an auto parts or truck shop and purchase them for.

This seller on ebay has been a great source for tail lights and I got them for under $25.00 shipped.
They include, Right and left lights, mounting brackets, pig tails, license plate holder and they include back up lights for those
who have seven pin plugs on thier builds.

I feel you can't go wrong, and the price is right. The lights are LARGE enough for the cell phone drivers to see!

Wow, that is a heck of a deal! Mark, how bright are they and did you wire your trailer with a 4-flat or 7 way? I have had good luck with the LED setup from Harbor Freight but may buy a set of these to check them out.

That's what I use to replace the ones on my CJ and TJ (basically the same as the OEM lights)

GROTE makes good stuff. Those come on 99% of truck chassis (just cab and frame, no box) so they are street legal.

Once bought, many of the beds they end up with have integrated tail lights, so no use for those ones any more.

I had a local source here for a while, and was getting them for $15 a set.

That's a smoking deal! Just ordered a set. I was down to one driver side light in my stock pile.

You can wire for both 7 pin and flat 4 They are bright and light up the rear well.
I need to wire in my back up lights yet. They were simple to wire and have sealed plugs
    that come with the set.

Thanks for the linky, Mark. Having followed behind my buddie's M101A3 I can tell you those military brake lights with 12V bulbs are pretty pitiful in broad daylight, and the rear reflectors seem just as bright after dark. Maybe he needs to clean up his ground... Oh well, I've become an LED nut myself, but any upgrade is a good one!

I got mine and could not be happier. Not even sure where I am going to use them yet, but I would rather have it and not need it rather than need it and not have it!
