Monteros on craigslist

Despite the mileage full Nada is only $4k, I would pay that and probably more, but $10k is a little out of line in my opinion. It's still due for a timing belt, that is for sure.

I think this belongs to an expo member, but not sure who... not mine, but wish it was! (but if it was, it wouldn't be on craigslist)

He posted it in the for sale section as well http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=132500

But, all the pics from both links are from imnosaints build or at least 95% of them. So I would be interested in seeing current pics of this rig. Not from before he bought it.

http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/cto/4701794726.html I just checked this out today. Drives fine. Some oil leakage though. Any thoughts?

Looks pretty clean from the pics. Any recent maintenance? Also, looks like it was issued newer license plates at one point as cars from that era would usually have license plates beginning with a "3" or "4". Possibly out of state car, previous custom plates, accident, etc. Just something to look into as it is on the checklist of things I do when shopping for used cars. Good luck!

it looks real clean, but as the LS you don't get a locker, and I think the axles are smaller as well, the ring & pinion gear are not the same sizes as from the SR. The locker is really what is going to hold you up on the trail, but the smaller axles will leave you totally stranded if they break. Also, has the 3.0 engine, not the 3.5. Rear jump seats are missing too.

it looks really clean though
