Im looking too my requests are 99-03, extended back, no rust, and not beat. Prefer diesel 7.3 200k or less.
$6k or less. The lower the better. I have seen them just not local enough.

For anyone looking at the V10's, I have find out some useful info. The 2005 model year was the first to have the 5R110W transmission (the 6.0l diesels got them in 2004), and they do not have the DSC system as far as I can tell. The DSC started in the 2006 models. So if you are looking for the V10s and don't want the additional expense of the DSC front axles, 2005 is the way to go.
Here is one in Fredericksburg, VA, which is just too far for me..... $12,900 with 65K miles http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-s...22092741&Log=0

Pretty sweet deal for someone looking to do a 4x4 conversion! I would snatch this up if I didn't already have mine.

Found on CL in New Jersey. Not affiliated in any way: http://southjersey.craigslist.org/cto/3081182592.html
1997 E350 with 7.3, 154K
Looks a little beat up in the pictures, one of the side door windows busted, maybe a dent on drivers side.
Jersey isn't too far from me....hmmmm
Question, i'm hunting for a diesel. But, will a 5.4 get the rig rolling if converted to 4WD and bigger tires? Sure Maryland is pretty flat, but when the excursions venture further west and into the mountains of West Virgina, curious if i'll be that guy slowly trucking up the hills.
I have the 5.4 in my 01 F150 Supercrew, and it is a pretty good engine as long as you are not doing too much heavy towing. When it used to be my daily driver I used it occasionally to tow my pretty light buggy and it did fine- you just need to take it easy in the mountains. In my case I will be towing my F150 (which is a pretty built prerunner and close to 8-9K with the trailer), so I really need the V10 or the diesel. If you are not doing any towing, I would absolutely consider the 5.4. They are much easier to find.

I know it's a little out of your price range but it has everything but the 4X4.
