Got a bunch of pictures today. Truck is damn clean and tracks straight on the hwy. I'm waiting to see if it's a 53 block now. I looked and looked and didn't see 53 stamped on it anywhere but want to be sure. I'll post pics when I get home.

Speaking of that, what would you guys thing is for for aftermarket equipment? How much value does aftermarket equipment retain on a vehicle. Is there a set formula or is it dependent on the age of the aftermarket accessory?

Everyone has their take on it - but in general, regardless of which side of the sale I'm on (buying or selling), I assume aftermarket parts, or recently installed OEM big-ticket items, to be valued at about 10% of the material cost (no labor). In other words, the $5,000 transmission overhaul/upgrade that the previous owner put in the last Dodge I bought, was worth $500 when I was buying it. The $4,000 worth of suspension (tires, driveshafts, springs, shocks, control arms, etc) that I put under my Jeep added $400 to the price when I sold it.

Ultimately, the 'fair' price is what ever the buyer is willing to pay.

    Huntsonora,
Buy this one and sell me your regular cab. I'm in market for one.

Looks like it sold this morning. Good part is that the guy that is buying it doesn't want or need the m15000 winch and may sell it to me. Score!
