    Default Wisdom of children

Our daughter and her family were up for a visit last week and since they now own a JKU we all went for a day trip up to Bald Eagle State Forest.. Gramma rode in the JKU, and the eldest grandson with me. We did a lot of unmaintained trail running, and a bit of hiking, picnic lunch, a grand time for all. Late afternoon was upon us and time to head home.. On a particularly rough section of trail my little guy says to me, and I quote, " Pa, I really like being in the wilderness,,, it makes me feel good, and I know everything's gonna be allright".. I was blown away, by the uncluttered wisdom of an 8 year old.. Makes me proud to be his grandpa!!

I wish I had made a note of all the comments my kids have made over the years.

Out of the mouths of babes. Fantastic. I feel the same way!
