Day 3 - Michigan Upper Peninsula Overland Challenge 2012

Day three was in the Garden Peninsula of Lake Michigan .
We spent a lot of the day in the Michigan State Park restored ghost town of Fayette.
The area was a large producer of Pig Iron for about thirty years.
Production stopped in 1891 and the company town faded away.
Excellent partially restored buildings and displays that portrayed everyday life in a Company Town and the Iron Smelting process.
Highly recommended!

Complete with a mid-day drunk in the parking, babbling unrecognizable words.

Day 4 - Michigan Upper Peninsula Overland Challenge 2012

Day 4 was the last day of the Michigan Upper Peninsula Overland Challenge.
Spent most of the day in Munising area on Lake Superior, chasing down water falls and coastal scenes for points.
My cell phone pictures don't do them justice, so I'll close this thread with more pictures of rigs and the cast of characters.
