New to me Monty Gen I

Hi all, been lurkin for a while and finally signed on... I finally got an 89 Monty SWB V6. A guy I work with bought it in California back in 93... WELL maintained and cared for. It arrived in Michigan here about 5 yrs ago and was rarely driven. He finally agreed to sell it to me. Pics upcoming...
About me, I work for Mitsubishi R&D in Michigan. Been with Mitsu for a long time......Just wanted to drop a line and say hey..

This Monty is a red sport,SWB, no LSDs....Super clean and tight. Minor valve cover leak, some wore bushings in the suspension..Overall MINTY for an 89.

I am looking for a couple bouncy seat bases. I was thinkin that would be cool to transplant a set of Recaro seats from a newer EVO into the lil beast...IF they will fit...maybe too tall
havent measured anything yet....Also want a set of MANUAL hubs for it too......Either way..Looking forward to talking to and getting to know y'all.....

www.car-part.com may have some seat bases as well as any local parts yards. www.msrecycling.com specializes in mitsu's and may also have them

A friend of mine was able to fit the Recaro-like seats from a Starion into his 2 door Monty.

Manual hubs will either come from a parts yard or you can get new decent quality ones made in china from PLH who's mostly on 4x4wire.com. His website though is www.tuffpans.com
