Yea from my readings it looks great, I plan to mount it inside the trailer. I will make an aluminum duct and cut a vent on the side for exhaust to exit, I think it should work pretty good that way.

Do you have a build thread of the hybrid cage on naxja? I actually have your hoop kit on my rigid bumper. Want to add a hybrid cage for the family and been bookmarking builds.

Nice setup! I too am planning this pump and heater... looking at a 21 gal tank that is only 8" tall. I can wedge it under the floor above the axle, protecting it with a removable skid plate to allow access to drop the tank if need be. The pump will also be under the floor, but inside a vented box. Haven'ed decided on location of the heater. I think I will keep it portable and use a hose bib on the side of the trailer to connect it.
Some yahoo rear ended me in the Corrado last year and insurance totaled it, ended up using the settlement to buy the rover so cant complain too much. Still have the passat wagon and my 76 scirocco though. I'll have to hit you up sometime soon about fabbing up some stuff for the rover, plus you're alot closer in san dimas than you used to be in the south bay. I remember when you picked up your first XJ, all the guys were like WTF Max..

Took the trailer out for a weekend on the lake bed, it worked great!
Got the hot water working and was able to enjoy a nice hot shower.
I still have some details to finish up...

looks like you need to shorten your ladder up some. On my RTT it actually supports some of the weight of the overhang. Looks like thats why its sliding out on you and you need the strap. It also looks like it may be bending from being out too far at such an angle.

Yea i need to take a rung out of it. I literally bolted the tent to the trailer and went to the lake bed, I forgot the ladder stake at the shop so just strapped it back.
