Not sure if I missed it, but when are these due to be out? (video description dated May 3 says "in a few weeks" but it's coming up on 12 weeks since that date)

The first run of wheels came out a number of weeks after that video. It was just a few wheels. The next run of a small amount of wheels, 60 or so, are being made now. Those wheels will be used for mostly marketing pourposes and production prototypes. The first real production run of over 200 wheels will happen this fall.

I'm not going to put direct info on this thread about the company because, 1) the wheels aren't available yet and 2) I'm not selling them. Sharing this info on other sites has been sensitive and the threads get closed. I don't want that to hapen here. So if you want more solid info, get creative with your google searches and you can find manufacturer info and contact them directly. My efforts are only to create awareness of a new product.

I like the design, I really do. This design seems limited to retaining one bead however I think that is one area where the Hutchinson style wheel excels. You get full retention of both the inner and the outer bead. Having the inner bead come off still sucks.

I do like the replaceable outer ring for rock rash.

I do like the one piece design, but with a Hutchinson wheel I don't think the 2-pc design is THAT much of an issue since the two halves are together metal to metal. With normal beadlock wheels where the outer ring retains the bead I have seen issues with the bead bolts breaking and/or getting loose since they cannot really be torqued down.

Not bashing the Hutchinson wheel. It's a great wheel. Check out post #16. Just comparing the 2 wheels. Also, are the Hutchinson wheels available in other bolt patterns than 5x 4.5 and 5x5?

Yes, I think you can order any pattern. 8x6.5 is a very common hutchinson patttern.

Here are a few pictures showing the install and the rapid deflating valve. As you can see they is plenty of room to access the mounting studs and the lock hold the tire well as shown in the last picture.

No, you obviously work in the marketing department and not the sales department.

Nope...I'm not on anyone's payroll. Just creating awareness for a friend that has developed the wheel. Plus Jeep stuff is fun to share, especially when it new cool stuff!

The "cool stuff" being posted here is promotion of a new product. If you're interested in more information about the BAD Wheels internal beadlock, check out their Facebook page, which seems to be the source of the photos being posted here
